I’ve spent a lifetime caring for others and building programs as an advanced practice nurse and in leadership. I know what is needed when life gets too much, and a little downtime is in order.
My husband is a career hotelier and general manager of a major hotel in New Orleans. As my consultant and partner in all things guest service, he provides the extra touch for a great guest experience!
With both of us in the caring and hospitality business, we’ve stayed at numerous establishments, hotels, lodges, B&Bs, cabins, etc. We always dreamed that at some point we’d buy a bed and breakfast and use our combined experience to create an environment that people would want to return to over and over. Camellia Cove is the beginning of that dream - who knows where the adventure will take us!

Welcome to Camellia Cove!
My husband and I vacationed in Magnolia Springs for many years (we’re originally from Baldwin County). We had a favorite home that we rented and would escape to for family vacations on the water or just a peaceful weekend retreat. Over the years, our favorite rental became the owner's full-time home, and we were sad to lose our treasured escape! Still, we kept dreaming of one day owning a home in Magnolia Springs.
As fate would have it, the puzzle pieces fell into place. At a women’s business retreat, I connected with a fellow entrepreneur who was seeking to sell her home in Magnolia Springs. And the rest is history! Within 2 months we were the new owners and set to work creating our new retreat and guest rental business. I’ve deeply enjoyed working with exceptional craft and tradesmen and an interior designer to create a safe, cozy, restful retreat.
We named the property Camellia Cove because of its proximity to a little pier/bay area that is a safe spot during storms for sailboats and the water is so cool and calm there. Also, this property has a line of mature Camellias that embellish the side of the house in beautiful pink blooms each year.
As hosts, our mission is to provide guests with a five-star experience in our beloved Magnolia Springs. We hope our guests will make memories of a lifetime and cherish Camellia Cove as much as we do!
